Industry, Trade Ministry says starts to issue lead export licenses

MOSCOW, Jul 7 (PRIME) -- The Industry and Trade Ministry has started to distribute lead export licenses, it said on Thursday.

"The producers that had prepared the whole package of necessary documents can obtain the lead export license. It was already granted to Fregat plant. The applications of other companies are being processed," the ministry said.

Business daily Kommersant reported on Wednesday that one of the country's largest producers of secondary lead, Fregat, was suspended in the wake of a prohibition to export the metal without licenses and the impossibility to get them.
